Juarez Mission 2008

Three adults and five youth from Hilltop UMC left Sioux Falls Thursday, June 12 filled with anticipation for the 10 days ahead. Those making a return trip knew they would experience intense heat with only the walls of the homes they were building to provide shade. They knew they would work hard and get dirty, but they were excited knowing that their hard work would provide a sturdy home for families who might have been living under cardboard boxes or another make shift shelter. Free time offered the opportunity to get acquainted with many others from the Dakotas who were part of the mission group.
