ALASKA MISSION 2009

Hilltop UMC and Sunnycrest UMC are partnering on a mission trip to Anchorage, Alaska, where they will share Christ through Bible Clubs and helping senior citizens, widows, wives of deployed military and the disadvantaged by helping with painting, home repair and yard work. They will host game nights for children, community events in the park and sporting events for youth. Through out the week participants will have opportunities to connect with residents and share their faith. One day will be devoted to sightseeing the wonderful senic beauty of 
Alaska and the wildlife that inhabit the state.
Because the great distance requires that the group travel by air, this will be an expensive trip costing each person approximately $1,200. Fund raising events have begun and will continue until the necessary funds are raised. Here's how to help--
