Have you ever witnessed a family reunion? That's what worship at Hilltop United Methodist Church is like. Grandpa and grandma holding hands while their granddaughter sits on their lap. All of them are smiling because their daughter and her teenage son are playing and singing in the worship band!
Coming to worship at Hilltop is all about coming home. It's about hugs and "how are you's?" and smiles and ocassionally a few tears. If you are looking for a quiet place to contemplate your relationship with God, we'll have moments in the service that will speak to you, but for the most part Hilltop is pretty pumped up about their journey with God and about getting our whole church family together on Sunday morning! To be honest with you, we can get a little loud at times. Especially when we're greeting each other or lifting our voices in praise to our Living God!
What kind of music do we play? Whatever kind of music deepens our walk with God! We'll sing everything! Hymns, praise songs (we've got a great band), even camp songs! We also love special music. Our musical groups include a wonderful choir, vocal solos and duets (sung by children and adults), instrumental solos (french horn, clarinet, and oboe as of late), and more! We also occassionally open our hearts to God via dance and drama.
Each of our worship services are designed to do one thing...to encounter the living, breathing, healing, and loving spirit of God. We want worship to touch your hearts, to move you, and inspire you. You may enter our worship service bruised and broken, but we pray that you'll leave changed and inspired to live your life in the arms of our loving God!
Come join us! We worship at 10 a.m. on Sunday and 6 p.m. on Saturday night!
